Comunity Helpers - Thank You
Mon 18 Sep 2023On Thursday we had some amazing volunteers from the Ordnance Survey, who can into school and cleared out pond area!! We would all like to say a massive thank you!! The pond area has now been cleared, and we are just waiting for a pond specialist to advise on the next step!!

Ahoy!
Fri 16 Jun 2023Ahoy! This week in KS1 class we have been Pirate mad! Starting with our fantastic pirate day which the children loved and fully embraced themselves. They learnt about pirates, they had to become pirates in the drama workshop, they went on a treasure hunt, they sang sea shanties and made paper pirate ships. We carried this theme on in writing a recount of our day and we made our own Lego pirate ships so we could test them on the sea. Arrrrr!

Longdown Dairy Farm Visit
Fri 12 May 2023Today we went on our first school trip, we has a wonderful time learning how to be little farmers.
We had so much fun at Longdown farm! We got to enjoy bottle feeding the kid goats, collecting eggs, holding chicks, stroking guinea pigs and plate feeding the large goats.

Beauty and the Beast
Mon 09 Jan 2023On Monday 9th January we were treated to a spectacular performance of Beauty and the Beast pantomime. The children had a wonderful time watching the pantomime It was a fantastic performance, a special thank you to Mrs Davey and Mrs Stevens, who took part and danced along with the performers!!

Totton Lantern Parade
Mon 05 Dec 2022On Sunday 4th December over 80 families from Hazel Wood Infant School joined the Lantern Parade . The children had made their own lanterns in school and marched behind Father Christmas in his sleigh. Thank you to everyone who attended.

Armistice Day
Fri 11 Nov 2022On Friday 11th November 2022 five Year 2 children represented the school at the Cenotaph in Totton. They laid a wreath in memory of those who have gone before.

Dips and Dippers
