  Ahoy! This week in KS1  class we have been Pirate mad! Starting with our fantastic pirate day which the children loved and fully embraced themselves. They learnt about pirates, they had to become pirates in the drama workshop, they went on a treasure hunt, they sang sea shanties and made paper pirate ships. We carried this theme on in writing a recount of our day and we made our own Lego pirate ships so we could test them on the sea. Arrrrr!
